Based on the presentation of trends in the development of financial resources for independent production and in the volume of production, we will discuss how independent filmmaking in Slovakia has developed over the past 15 years, how its financing has developed and what its current state is. We will also take a closer look at the function of independent producers and the current conditions of their functioning.
