Young Mia starts working abroad as an au-pair for a well-off family. Not only does she have to take care of 10-year old Sebastian and a lavish villa, but the first meeting also makes clear there is way more expected of her. The family gradually unveils a myriad of strict rules, including a quite radical approach to the son’s upbringing. Yet breaking the rules would be Mia’s certain ticket to a shameful journey home – she has no intention of disappointing the family and losing the newly gained trust of Sebastian or leaving prematurely. As a result of systematic manipulation, she gradually begins to abandon her morality.
