The story of Tomasz Komenda, who served 18 years in prison before he was found not guilty. As a 23-year-old, he was arrested overnight, thrown into prison and charged with murder. For nearly two decades he was beaten, threatened and humiliated.
The screening of Polish films within the SOLIDARITY ON SCREEN section is organized in cooperation with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute as part of the international cultural program of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2025.
