At a prestigious private school, where excellence is the goal that both students and teachers are expected to strive for, an anonymous letter disrupts the fragile balance of its functioning. In it, an unknown author delivers an ultimatum to the administration: if the school does not cancel the final exams, the author will commit suicide. As panic spreads, a search for the letter’s author begins. Is it a cruel joke, manipulation, or a desperate cry for help?
The gripping drama gradually exposes cracks in a system that outwardly appears flawless but is in fact built on pressure, obedience and fear of failure. Director Kiwi Chow, known for his critical stance on social conditions in Hong Kong, uses the story of the school as a metaphor for society, in which excellence and personal identity come into conflict with authority and power.
