David Lynch’s Wild at Heart is a darkly surreal, violent, and passionate road movie, blending elements of neo-noir, romance, and twisted fairy tale. Sailor Ripley (Nicolas Cage) and Lula Pace Fortune (Laura Dern) are young lovers on the run from Lula’s overbearing and psychotic mother, Marietta (Diane Ladd).
